Good morning... I hope everyone is having a good day.
It seems like our world has gotten much much smaller in the past week or so. I am trying my best to understand how the Body of Christ is to operate in these unusual times we live in.
I know the early church didn't always have a meeting place to attend and fellowship in and worship God in so I know we can make good come of all the changes happening around us.
We are very thankful to The Lord for all he has done for us. We are trustful and we want to be faithful, but we also understand the severity of the virus COVID19.
I absolutely know nothing about this COVID19 virus other than what the professionals have said. They have said this virus is extremely contagious and I believe them. I have always been an advocate of a professionals opinion. Their education and experience together is wisdom from God even if they don't know it! Let the professional do their job!
Having said that, we will continue to pause our church services for the next seven(7) days.
I hope as new understandings come in each day concerning this sickness that we will be able to meet together again real soon, Hopefully March 29th. We will continue to monitor the recommendations from national, state, and local authorities.
In closing, Please remember our church prayer requests.
Pray for one another. Pray for our Nation and our people.
Pray for our military and the churches missionaries all around the world.
Pray for our Police Officers and Fire Fighters.
Pray for all those in the medical field, hospitals and doctors office as they provide patient well care and also to protect themselves.
One final note today... Jesus is our Healer and our Protector!
Psalm 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Amen! I trust Jesus my Saviour with my Spiritual everlasting life and I also trust Him with my physical life here and now. Please remember the Great Commission Christ gave us... Just because we are quarantined to limited spaces doesn't mean we can't call and reach others in Christ name and for his sake!
"Wherefore edify(encourage) one another..." 1 Thessalonians 5:11 Have a great day!
Please forward to everyone you can.. In Christ, Pastor Brian
