Good morning.. I hope everyone had a good day yesterday.
I was so glad to hear everyone was ok from the storms Sunday night. That was a very stressful evening and into the night. We prayed for you all and I know you were praying for our safety too.
I messaged a friend of mine that lives in Villanow Ga early Monday morning, just checking on him and his family. I told him I was praying for his family last night in the storms. He replied immediately, "We had a big tree come down in the back yard, but the tornado must have gone back up into the clouds when you prayed. Thank you"
Praise God for the faithful!!! Jesus said "I have not found so great faith,"
"According to your faith be it done to you" Jesus said in Matthew 9:29
We made it through another series of the storms of life! God help us to trust in thee today and tomorrow!
I have been thinking a lot( I know you have been too ) about all the things happening in our world. There are a lot of questions, and there are a lot of people trying to give answers to those questions.
I just hope we don't get to a point where "we can't see the forest for the trees"
C.S. Lewis spoke in the 1940s reflecting on the concern about living in a world that had the atomic bomb at its disposal, and the fear of death and calamity it was bringing. He said...
"How are we to live in this age?" I am tempted to reply: "Why, as you would have lived in the sixteenth century when the plague visited London almost every year, or as you would have lived in a Viking age when raiders from Scandinavia might land and cut your throat in the night; or as you are already living in the age of cancer, paralysis, air raids, railway accidents, or motor vehicle accidents...
In other words, he continued..."do not let us begin by exaggerating our situation. Believe me dear sir or madam, you and all whom you love were already sentenced to death before the atomic bomb was invented, and a high percentage of us were going to die in unpleasant ways...
This is the point to be made: and the first action to be taken is to pull ourselves together. If we are going to be destroyed by an atomic bomb, let that bomb when it comes find us doing sensible human things- praying, working, teaching, reading, listening to music, bathing the children, playing tennis, chatting with friends, not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about the bombs. They may break our bodies, but they need not dominate our minds."
You've heard another old proverb, "The Devil is in the details"
Well I say, "God is the whole report!"
Church... WE ARE GOING TO GET THROUGH THIS!
Our Heavenly Father is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck us out of His hand!
I know man (world leaders that desire to control us) is watching how the church is responding to this coronavirus pandemic, but that should not matter to us. This is not our home anyway. We are but pilgrims and strangers here. This does not change our mission or purpose! Let us die in faith like the Church did, and let us declare plainly that we also seek a country, whose builder and maker is God! Amen!
Of course we are trying to distance ourselves from one another for each others own safety, but we are still the Body of Christ. Our mission is to advance the Kingdom of God and call sinners to repentance and pull loved ones out of the fire and praise and glorify The Lord Jesus Christ all the while!
Evangelist and author Francis Chan said recently perhaps "this could be the beginning of the end." Speaking about the unprecedented times we're living in, he continued, "God is doing something now that I've never seen in my lifetime... It feels like we're headed into a new season."
I don't have to have any feeling about it because God said...
Isaiah 43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Heavenly Father, Thank you for giving us understanding and wisdom in this day we live in and help us Lord to be faithful. In Jesus name, Amen.
Please remember our church prayer requests and all those listed in our church bulletin.

Finally Pray for the lost, those seeking after The Lord today.
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed by thy name
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, for ever. Amen
"Wherefore edify(encourage) one another..." 1 Thessalonians 5:11 making my way through the wilderness... in Christ, Pastor Brian Have a great day!
