Homecoming

Hello good morning,

“Welcome home.” It’s time to celebrate Homecoming!

Homecoming Day season is here... And I am looking forward to being with you at Cookson Creek Baptist Church on the grounds to praise and worship The Lord!

Let us assemble together in the Spirit of Christ Power, unafraid and victorious over death, hell, and the grave!

Former Beloved Pastor Bro. Mike Rymer will be with us and our Homecoming Day Singers I know will follow the leadership of Holy Spirit to prepare our hearts for the Word of God.

Thank you Lord for the lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path!

Let us celebrate together in the Spirit of Christ glorious Church as the bride not having spot or wrinkle; holy and without blemish. Amen!

Many will remember the good times with former church congregates or sadly a bad time when thinking about Homecoming, but God is in THIS PLACE!

Let us meet together and LET GO AND LET GOD have His way in our hearts and lives.

We will miss those gone on to be with The Lord in Beulah Land this Homecoming Day, but we will also rejoice to see new faces in our journey to the place Jesus is preparing for all the twice born children of God.

We will celebrate Homecoming. We will take part in the festivities. We will honor God and gather to encourage one another in Jesus sweet name.

God is calling us worship together! Notice this passage of scripture in Psalm 95...

The Lord is our Rock, our protector and Saviour, our keeper, our strong helper, solid and faithful!

If you will come, if you will approach to meet Him, I promise to you people of his pasture, the sheep of his hand, God will pour you out a blessing that there shall not be enough room to receive it.

Heavenly Father, We desire a great Homecoming Day Sunday and we look for a Homegoing day after while. Help us live today in light of the world to come. In Jesus name, Amen

In closing, we regret to inform you that there will be no Homecoming Day dinner after the service. Please have a hearty breakfast and come celebrate Homecoming with us. Also please bring a lawn chair. Thank you.

Please remember the phone tree prayer requests.

Please remember our church prayer requests and all those listed in our church bulletin. Pray for one another. Pray for our Nation, our leaders and ALL people. Pray for our military, their families and the churches missionaries all around the world. Pray for our Police Officers, Fire Fighters, and First Responders. Pray for all those in the medical field, hospitals and doctors offices as they provide patient well care and also to protect themselves. Finally Pray for the lost, those seeking after The Lord today. "Wherefore edify(encourage) one another..." 1 Thessalonians 5:11 excited for another memory... in Christ, Pastor Brian Have a great day! Check out the many great devotions and messages at... www.cooksoncreekbc.org
