One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus

Updated: Apr 26, 2020

Good morning... Its okay, to not be okay.

Sheila Walsh said, "Okay doesn't live here, but Jesus does. All He looks for in us is a willingness to take the next step."

It's okay to cry.

It's okay not to be strong.

It's okay to not know all the answers.

It's okay to be surrounded by people and still feel completely alone.

It's okay to not have the words to describe how you are feeling.

It's okay to let yourself feel and let your emotions out.

It's okay to be proud of yourself for getting out of bed.

It's okay to talk about what you are going through, but only if that feels right to you.

It's okay to know that you are so much more than your mental health battles.

Sometimes it's just a bad day, not a bad life!

As much of this great advice that we find on the internet, I know I'm not the only one who needs to just take it one day at a time. Lord, I don't have the answers, half the time I don't even know where to look... but I believe they are there. God gives great advice and He will guide you and I in our next steps for Him and ourselves.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Then in all of my worry and disappointments The Lord simply says...

It's okay to feel helpless for we have someone to run to!

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Ezra and Nehemiah read the book of the law of God before the people. They were all crying and upset when they heard it... Then Nehemiah said,

Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Don't grieve, knowledge is power!

Don't grieve, the power of God is strength!

Don't grieve, salvation is of The Lord!

Don't grieve, patience brings hope!

Don't grieve, perserverance is the key!

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Heavenly Father, Give strength to the weary and power to the weak. In Jesus name, Amen.

Please remember our church prayer requests and all those listed in our church bulletin.

Pray for one another. Pray for our Nation and ALL people.

Pray for our military, their families and the churches missionaries all around the world.

Pray for our Police Officers, Fire Fighters, and First Responders.

Pray for all those in the medical field, hospitals and doctors offices as they provide patient well care and also to protect themselves.

Finally Pray for the lost, those seeking after The Lord today.

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed by thy name

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven

Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts,

as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power,

and the glory, for ever. Amen

"Wherefore edify(encourage) one another..." 1 Thessalonians 5:11

I can do all things... in Christ, Pastor Brian

Have a great day!
